After much anticipation, Studio Wildcard has finally set the stage for the reveal and 4K Gameplay Trailer Premiere of Ark Survival Ascendant.
In gaming, few titles have captured the imagination and hearts of players, like Ark: Survival Evolved. The highly anticipated remaster, Ark Survival Ascendant, will entice returning players to revisit its treacherous world and draw in new players curious about the dangers and excitement that this prehistoric game offers. But what sets this remastered version apart? It’s not your typical remake; it’s an upgrade to Unreal Engine 5, taking the beloved Ark to a new level.
Excitement is building as the release date approaches. Wildcard Studios has set the launch for the end of October, and with November fast approaching, there’s only one week left. If they keep their word, Ark Survival Ascendant will launch on PC on October 25th and in November for consoles.

In a recent tweet, Xbox announced that ARK: Survival Ascendant will be one of the featured games at the Xbox Partner Preview event. All this exciting news implies that players can expect the long-awaited gameplay trailer in stunning 4K resolution during the event. Moreover, the game will become available on Steam around the same time. The common practice among game studios is to unveil a trailer during a major gaming event and simultaneously release it on various game-selling platforms. The same will be the case for the Premiere of Ark Survival Ascendant.

What Platforms And When Will It Be Released?
While the PC base game is set to debut on 25th October, console players will need to wait until November. Also, some of the DLCs from the original game won’t be ready for release. Players can expect to see a few DLCs arriving later this year. New upgraded ARK Ascendent: Scorched Earth DLC will return in December, and Ragnarok and Aberration will follow in the first quarter of 2024. As for the remaining maps, they have release schedules planned beyond that.
Based on comparison pictures shared by Wildcard, it’s clear that the game’s graphics will see a significant improvement when it finally arrives on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC this October.
Ark Survival Ascendant promises many graphic improvements and gameplay mechanics, creating an immersive experience like never before. However, what truly makes this remaster unique is its community-driven approach. Players can shape the game by participating in community votes. They can pick among ten suggested creature names and brief descriptions of their potential in-game abilities. The winning creature from these votes will become part of the remastered version of ARK Survival Evolved, enriching the base game or one of its DLCs.
