Learn where you can find Metal Sheets in Enshrouded, a necessary resource for crafting stronger armor and shields.
How to Get Metal Sheets in Enshrouded
To get Metal Sheets in Enshrouded you will have to craft them out of Metal Scraps and Charcoal. Furthermore, you will need the Forge crafting station in order to do so. You’ll unlock the Forge by finding the Blacksmith and awakening him in his vault, which should happen very early on in the game. Finding the Blacksmith is one of the very first quests Enshrouded gives you.
Next, after finding the Blacksmith you’ll need to place him inside some shelter back at your base. This will begin to unlock some of his crafting recipes. You will first need to craft a Charcoal Kiln out of 20 Stone so that you can make some Charcoal. Then, you can craft a Forge with the following materials:
- 30 Stone
- 10 Metal Scraps
- 10 Charcoal
- 12 Wood Logs
Once you have a Forge in place you can start to craft Metal Sheets. Each Metal Sheet will require:
- 2 Charcoal
- 2 Metal Scraps
What are Metal Sheets, and what are they used for?
There are several shields and armour sets in Enshrouded which will require Metal Sheets in order to craft them. When starting out, the Rising Fighter Armour set is one of the first places you will see this. You will need 9 Metal Sheets, in addition to other materials, in order to craft the full set of head, chest, legs, feet and arm pieces.
Shields which require Metal Sheets will include the Spectral Shield, Rising Fighter Shield and the Valiant Shield.
