Bunkers can be a little hectic to manage in GTA Online, especially if you are alone. Follow these tips to watch your business bloom.
Bunkers, as businesses in GTA Online, appear to be primarily designed for co-op management. If you are a solo player, we understand your plight. Don’t worry, because this guide is for everyone who is looking for the best tips to start off a Bunker business.
It is a great source of income if you are looking to invest your GTA$ somewhere. There are many things you can do to earn big bucks in GTA Online and Bunkers are one of them.
You don’t receive much “passive” income from them, but if you are looking for some “management” missions on the side, this is the perfect business for you.
Kindly note that these tips may not work the best for you if you are somebody who already knows how to run a Bunker because there’s only so much you can learn about it.
Before You Start a Bunker in GTA Online
First and foremost, what you would want to do is open your phone, go to the internet, and head to the Maze Bank Foreclosures. Filter Bunkers from the top right, and you will get the locations of all the ones available on the map. This is where things could get tricky. Now, note down the following tips:
- Prioritize two bunkers: Farmhouse Bunker (slightly north of the city) and Chumash Bunker (west of the city). These two are the closest to Los Santos, where you will be spending most of your time. So, in case of raids, you would want to reach as fast as possible.
- When buying a Bunker, you will get the option to customize it. The only important customizations that you need to pay attention to are Personal Quarters, Shooting Range, and Gun Locker.
- Personal Quarters will set a spawn point for you if you don’t have one already. The Gun Locker will then come in handy to arm you as you wish. The Shooting Range in a GTA Online Bunker lets you unlock some good perks if you use it often.
- You can also buy the Transportation update, which gives you access to vehicles like a Golf Cart to get around. You don’t need it, in my opinion. But if you have surplus GTA$, then sure.
- There are three types of upgrades: Equipment, Staff, and Security. The first two let you speed up your production and also increase the selling price of your finished goods, making you a good profit. The “Equipment” upgrade specifically makes your supplies last longer. As for Security, it doesn’t affect your income but makes your Bunker less susceptible to raids, letting you peacefully do your thing in Los Santos without interruptions.
- The Assign Staff section offers three options: Manufacturing, Research, and Both. The first one is money-oriented, while the second one is related to the speed of production. I suggest that you select either of these because selecting both may make your Bunker staff the “jack of all trades,” but they won’t master anything.
- When it comes to Supplies, it’s better that you buy rather than steal them because the latter option will be time-consuming and will have you running around quite a few times. Note that no matter at what price you buy, you will always make a profit. You can also buy these supplies without visiting your Bunker in GTA Online if you have an Arcade.
- Lastly, the Bunker doesn’t require you to completely fill it to make a profit. In fact, just one round of products will make the same profit if you just let all the supplies turn into a finished product and then sell them. So, if you have friends, wait around and sell all the products together. But if you play alone, resupply one round and only take one vehicle for delivery when it’s prepared after 2.5 hours.
- Additionally, don’t forget to sell to Los Santos rather than Blaine County because the former will earn you more profit.
