This Strand Titan build combines power and survivability into an awesome combo. It is easy to use and quite frankly is one of the most powerful builds in the game. Banner of War increases damage and survivability at the same time which makes this a great choice for players who are just getting started on end-game content. The following list presents all the essential Strand Titan PvE Mechanics and Features in Destiny 2:

Abilities

The best abilities for the Synthoceps Strand Titan PvE Build are Rally Barricade, Grapple, and Frenzied Blade. The Bladefury Super is the best and only super this build has. Just because it is the only super though doesn’t make it a bad one. Rally Barricade is the better option because of its lower cool down, but it is not super important to this build so feel free to flex it out. Frenzied Blade is the only melee option, but when paired with the Banner of War Aspect it can do amazing damage. The Grapple gives us a decent mobility option and grants us another melee attack.

Make sure you are using your melee abilities as often as possible as they are what activate your Banner of War initially. Your barricade is mostly just to activate the Outreach mod and isn’t very important to the overall execution of this build.

Some abilities, aspects and fragments need to be unlocked before use. In order to do that for Strand subclasses, Destiny 2 players must own the Ligthfall expansion and complete the entire main campaign to get access to the subclass. Additionally, to unlock Strand grenades, aspects, and fragments, players must buy them from the special vendor, the Pouka Pond, with Strand meditations. Aspects

The best aspects to use with our Strand Titan build are Banner of War and Into the Fray. The build is built around the Banner of War, and Into the Fray grants us and our allies even more survivability through the use of Woven Mail.

Banner of War is absolutely one of the better aspects in Destiny 2. It grants increased damage and healing pulses in an aura around the Titan. It does take a melee, finisher, or sword kill to activate initially but after that, it gets charged by any kill done in its aura. Into the Fray grants us the ability to give ourselves and our allies Woven Mail, which again is one of the better survival options in the game.

Fragments

The best fragments for our Strand Titan PvE build are the Threads of Generation, Continuity, Warding, and Transmutation. These all passively benefit the build via ability generation or debuff application.

Thread of Generation is a staple in almost any Strand build since it grants grenade energy just by doing damage. Since we will be severing targets with our melee ability, Thread of Continuity will keep that up longer. Thread of Warding helps our survivability by granting us Woven Mail more often. Thread of Transmutation helps us make more tangles which can help us keep up our allies Woven Mail.

Weapons

The best weapons for our Strand Titan PvE build are Monte Carlo, IKELOS_SG_v.1.0.3, and Bequest. Monte Carlo makes it to where we will never run out of our of melee energy. The Ikelos Shotgun is just a great shotgun option for PvE with One-Two Punch. The Bequest sword has the potential to be one of the strongest swords in the game with the Surrounded trait.

Here’s a list of the best weapon loadout for our Strand Titan PvE build:

• Kinetic: Monte Carlo, Exotic Kinetic Auto Rifle
• Energy: IKELOS_SG_v.1.0.3, Rapid-Fire Frame Solar Shotgun
• Heavy: Bequest, Adaptive Frame Arc Sword

Alternatively, you can go with a more high-risk, high-setup. It has a higher damage potential but lacks the ability regeneration of the first setup. We will be using the Swordbreaker Strand Shotgun for this one. Make sure it has the One-Two Punch trait. Utilize a solar primary such as Abyss Defiant or Calus Mini-tool. The Exotic for this setup is the Tractor Cannon, which is used to massively debuff our targets.

Exotic Armor

This build works best with the Synthoceps exotic armor. It increases our melee and super damage by a significant amount when surrounded by enemies. This build put us in the thick of it, so we will almost always be benefitting from this. 

Armor Stats

The best stats to focus on for our Strand Titan PvE build are Resilience, Discipline, and Strength. These provide us with both the offense and defense needed to survive end-game content.

• Discipline: 80
• Intellect: 40
• Strength: 100

Armor Mods

The best armor mods for the Banner of War Strand Titan build are Hands-On, Outreach, Invigoration, and Heavy Handed. These all feed into our super and melee abilities which are our main ways of activating Banner of War.

Your chest mods will change depending on the damage types you are facing based on the content you are doing. Remember that using the same mod more than once has diminishing returns. Utilize any stat-boosting mods as you see fit to max out any of your priority stats.

Gameplay Tips

This is one of the single most powerful builds in the game, especially in a group setting. Run in a melee an enemy to get Banner of War activated and after that point, simply get kills to keep it up and make it stronger. Since anyone getting any kill in its aura keeps it going, it is ridiculously easy to keep this buff up at all times. For your larger enemies make sure you are utilizing your One-Two Punch Shotgun to deal as much damage as possible. If you see a tangle, pick it up and throw it at your allies to give them Woven Mail to further increase their survivability. 

The Bladefury super can be used on bosses as well. It does great damage to single targets and can also be used in a bind if you are getting overwhelmed with minor combatants. This build seems one-dimensional but is effective in almost every situation.
