Discover everything you need to know in our All Stamina Talents List Guide for Black Myth: Wukong!
In Black Myth: Wukong, your character progresses by unlocking Foundation talents in three different skill trees: Stamina, Martial Arts, and Survival. These Foundation talents primarily dictate your combat efficiency, so you will want to give priority to unlocking them with Spark Points.
Furthermore, you will need to defeat enemies to make progress towards Spark Points. First, when you defeat an enemy you will be granted Willpower. Then, after your Willpower bar fills up, you will get a Spark Point.
Finally, you can respec your Spark Points at any time during the game. This freedom will facilitate combat strategy and allow you to modify your build to take advantage of boss weaknesses or combat style.
All Stamina Talents – Black Myth: Wukong
In Black Myth: Wukong the Stamina tree includes a total of 10 different skills that can boost your endurance and modify how efficient your dodges are in and out of combat. Stamina is a resource that is required for all types of movement in the game, including light and heavy attacks, charged attacks, dodging, and sprinting. When your Stamina bar runs out you will not be able to make any additional physical attacks or movements until it has regenerated. Therefore, this makes the talents in the Stamina tree vital to combat performance.
Below are all the Stamina Skills and Talents:
- Endurance
- Simian Agility
- Everlasting Vigor
- Deft Evasion
- Composure
- Featherlight
- Vigilant Heart
- Focused Breath
- Ephemeral Shadow
- Vengeful Mirage
Endurance
- Talent Name: Endurance
- Foundation Skill Line: Stamina
- Description: Each talent level moderately reduces the Stamina cost of Sprinting.
- Type: Passive
- Sparks Cost: 1
Sprinting is one of the best and easiest ways to increase your movement and make you more agile during combat. Therefore, the Endurance talent is an easy choice to invest in because it moderately reduces the Stamina cost of sprinting. Additionally, there are two levels you can spend Spark Points in, so the effect can stack. The Endurance talent will be available right away in the game and should be an early priority to unlock.
Simian Agility
- Talent Name: Simian Agility
- Foundation Skill Line: Stamina
- Description: Each talent level moderately reduces the Stamina cost of Dodging.
- Type: Passive
- Sparks Cost:
Like sprinting, the dodge mechanic is a maneuver you will want to use early and often when fighting in Black Myth: Wukong. Consequently, the Simian Agility talent should be a priority investment in the early stages of the game because it reduces the stamina cost of dodging. It also has two levels to unlock so you can stack the benefit of this talent twice over.
Everlasting Vigor
- Talent Name: Everlasting Vigor
- Foundation Skill Line: Stamina
- Description: Slightly increases Stamina recovery rate when depleted.
- Type: Passive
- Sparks Cost: 1
Stamina recovery is hugely important in Black Myth: Wukong because without it you cannot even make a basic light attack. The Everlasting Vigor talent in the Stamina tree will help with that by increasing your stamina recovery rate. However, the bonus will only take effect after you have depleted your Stamina bar. Therefore, it will help you get back into the fight more quickly but is only a situational boost and does not apply overall.
Deft Evasion
- Talent Name: Deft Evasion
- Foundation Skill Line: Stamina
- Description: Makes each initial Dodge more agile and flexible.
- Type: Passive
- Sparks Cost: 1
Next in the Black Myth: Wukong – Complete Guide List Stamina Skills and Talents article is Deft Evasion, which will makes your first Dodge more agile and flexible. Unfortunately, the tooltip does not specify what it means beyond that. It may mean that your first Dodge will have less of a stamina cost as you go into battle against a new enemy.
Composure
- Talent Name: Composure
- Foundation Skill Line: Stamina
- Description: Dodging no longer interrupts Light Attack Combo. This also applies to Perfect Dodges.
- Type: Passive
- Sparks Cost: 2
The Composure talent in the Stamina skill tree allows you to dodge in the middle of a light attack combo without breaking the combo of hits and having to start over. A light attack combo means a series of light attacks where each hit successfully connects with the enemy. If you miss an attack or make another move, then the count will start over. Therefore, this is a great talent to unlock because it will allow you to dodge an incoming attack without losing your light attack count.
Featherlight
- Talent Name: Featherlight
- Foundation Skill Line: Stamina
- Description: Massively reduces the Stamina cost of Jumping.
- Type: Passive
- Sparks Cost: 1
Featherlight is a Stamina talent that will massively reduce the stamina cost of jumping. Furthermore, the jump action in Black Myth: Wukong can be used in combat as another type of dodge, or as the start of a Jump Attack. Jump attacks are more powerful, due to the downward pull of gravity, but you will use extra stamina to get yourself high enough in the air. If you enjoy implementing these types of attacks into your combat style, then this is a talent you will want to unlock.
Vigilant Heart
- Talent Name: Vigilant Heart
- Foundation Skill Line: Stamina
- Description: Each talent level moderately increases Focus gained from Perfect Dodges.
- Type: Active or Passive
- Sparks Cost: 1
Vigilant Heart move is a talent that will increase the amount of Focus you gain from successfully executing Perfect Dodges. Focus is a resource in Black Myth: Wukong that you can generate through hits against enemies and completing Perfect Dodges. When you build up enough of it you will earn a Focus Point that can be consumed to make a charged Heavy Attack deal more damage.
Accomplishing a Perfect Dodge will require timing and skill. However, if you are consistently successful with them, then the Vigilant Heart talent should be a priority.
Focused Breath
- Talent Name: Focused Breath
- Foundation Skill Line: Stamina
- Description: Each talent level considerably increases Stamina Recovery Rate with Health is above half.
- Type: Passive
- Sparks Cost: 1
The Focused Breath talent may not be available early in the game, but once you can unlock it the boost to your stamina recovery rate will be significant. Once this passive is active, it will increase your stamina recovery rate while your health bar is at least half full. Unfortunately, if you start to get into trouble while fighting a monster then a lower health bar will mean that stamina will be depleted faster. However, this is overall the best talent to boost your stamina recovery in the game.
Ephemeral Shadow
- Talent Name: Ephemeral Shadow
- Foundation Skill Line: Stamina
- Description: Grants a considerable amount of Damage Reduction for a short duration after a Perfect Dodge.
- Type: Passive
- Sparks Cost: 1
The Ephemeral Shadow talent will apply another passive improvement to the Perfect Dodge, where you can gain a boost to damage reduction after successfully completing the maneuver. This defensive boost only lasts for a short period but is a great way to have some extra protection while you are in close with the enemy. Prioritize learning how to time your dodges, so that you can take advantage of all these great passive boosts to the Perfect version.
Vengeful Mirage
- Talent Name: Vengeful Mirage
- Foundation Skill Line: Stamina
- Description: Perfect Dodges leave an illusion in your wake, which explodes instantly, dealing damage to nearby enemies.
- Type: Active or Passive
- Sparks Cost: 2
The final talent in the Black Myth: Wukong – Complete Guide List Stamina Skills and Talents article is Vengeful Mirage, which will create a decoy after a perfect dodge that explodes and deals area-of-effect damage. Several of the talents in the Stamina skill line offer incredible boosts to Perfect Dodges. Ephemeral Shadow, Vigilant Heart, and now Vengeful Mirage all offer different rewards for executing Perfect Dodges. If you’re struggling with this action, then you may be better off investing your Spark Points elsewhere. However, if you’ve mastered the timing, then these are all talents you should not pass up.
